Welcome to OakLeaf Bouvier des Flandres, our story is born out of a love at first site. Upon retirement from the Air Force a friend gifted me with a our precious Arabella Hendricka the first of five Bouviers to grace our home with love. Bernard Walmond followed a year later when my husband also retired from the Air Force. Several years went by before our love of the breed brought us Sophia Caru; like potato chips it is hard to have just one! We never thought of breeding until our search for a healthy, genetically sound puppy became difficult. We are not just a kennel, these are all family members that live with us everyday in our home of wags and wiggles! My husband granted me a wonderful birthday wish of another puppy; that wish brought Udolf Valerey into our lives. Wanting to learn from Udolf's breeder the skills to groom my own dogs, brought me full circle to the show ring with Udolf, she saw something special in him at a young age and our pursuit began. Next came little Tauriella from Poland to insure future breeding would be keeping healthy lines without known sick pedigrees. I do not believe in inbreeding to win in a show ring & they will always be fully health tested prior to breeding. Our goal is to be a part of producing healthy dogs for the future of the Bouvier des Flandres breed and to only have wonderful loving dogs placed in good homes.
Please feel free to contact us or check in occasionally for the newest updates to titles, shows and health updates prior to being bred!
We will always try to find the best possible home and environment for our Bouviers. Due to various reasons, not all applicants are a good fit; and some applicants may not be selected.
Please read our General Contract and make sure you are willing to abide by the terms before filling out the puppy application and sending a deposit. Deposits hold your position for upcoming litter once your application is accepted and are completely refundable until the date of birthing.
Thank you for your interest in wanting to purchase an OakLeaf Bouvier des Flandres!
